Now a days surfing on the internet has became unsafe because of increasing hackers activities may cause our ID to be fished in (fishing net) trapped by any evil hacker.
recently we read that Gmails security was breached in America. So what could be the way to secure our ID or E-Mail. the only way is to be aware of these attacks and by implementing additional security you can secure your ID. Following are few tips that will help you to secure your way on the net.
1> Often we see those people who give their mail id to anyone and anywhere,don't do that because it may be used to sell to the spammers or advertisers or to anyone belonging to do evil work.
2> Don't give your id anywhere on the net to get newest features,it may be fascinating you to get new feature about your facebook or orkut or anything by giving them your mail id. wait until the features are not legally announced or published.
3> Don't click on any link provided in your mail id,specially for anonymous links.

4> If you are using Gmail then you can add additional security to login your account. additional security called "using 2 step verification service". you can check my previous article on "Google's 2 step verification service". If you implement this service hacker will be unable to break into your account.
5> Don't subscribe every channel,every site or blog because few of them sites might be infected with viruses and spams,so it would affect your id also.
6> When you login to your account check for site URL is correct or it's with spelling mistake. like it would be OKRUT replacing ORKUT. if it is not correct then the page your are watching is perfectly phissing page.
7> Keep reading various article on these type of subjects,it will give you a idea to secure your id.
